Google is back with the 5th edition of Hash Code, a team programming competition for university students and professionals. Teams will be tasked with solving algorithmic problems that are inspired by real challenges that we face at Google (see problems from previous editions here). The Online Qualification Round will take place on 1st March 2018, and the top scoring teams from this round will then be invited to Google Dublin to compete in the final round of the competition on 28th April. Hash Code provides a great opportunity to step into the shoes of a Google engineer and develop your coding skills!

For the Online Qualification Round, we are encouraging participants to organize “hubs” where teams from the same university can meetup to compete side-by-side in a more fun environment. Organizing a hub is a great way to bring the excitement of Hash Code to your university - signup to organize a hub at your university! Check out our website to learn more about Hash Code and what it means to be a hub organizer.

Registration for the actual competition will open in early January at g.co/hashcode.

I’d just like to say that EmployAbility are a fantastic company, who really get to know the individuals applying through them and can see talent even when those people, such as myself, don’t necessarily see it at the time.
