About the Summer Analyst Internship Programme
This is a ten-week programme designed to fully immerse you in the day-today activities of one of Goldman Sachs' divisions. The programme starts with a firmwide orientation where you’ll learn about their culture, as well as the benefits and responsibilities of being a member of Goldman Sachs. You will also receive division-specific training designed to help you succeed in your division.
After training, you will receive real responsibilities to give you a sense of what you would be doing, day to day, as a full-time Goldman Sachs employee. Along with fellow interns, you will work alongside leaders within the industry. Successful Summer Analysts may be invited back to join the New Analyst programme in a full time position.
About the Global Compliance Division
The Global Compliance division is dedicated to protecting the reputation of the firm and managing risk across all business areas.

They monitor regulatory trends and changes in all jurisdictions in which the firm does business, and they share information and collaborate with regulators to manage financial market risk.
Global Compliance is organized broadly into divisional compliance groups, which are embedded into the areas they support, and centralized compliance groups, which survey risks and manage regulatory affairs, services and resources related to all businesses and employees of the firm globally. These centralised groups include:
- Compliance Surveillance Strategy Group is comprised of the Anti-Money Laundering/Suspicious Activities Group, E-Communications Compliance and Global Surveillance
- Control Compliance is comprised of the Control Room, Compliance Chaperones, Regulatory Reporting and Compliance Employee Services
- Global Compliance Testing
- Regulatory Audits and Inquiries
- Global Compliance Training
- Bank Holding Company Compliance
