EmployAbility, without any hesitation has not only been highly influential in my success in receiving a graduate job at a leading US Investment Bank, but in introducing me to a career in Investment Banking. I feel very honoured and grateful for their support and I am incredibly thankful.
I first came across EmployAbility in my first term at University via an advert sent through the diversity network for an InvestAbility two day event in London, I had no idea what banking was but was intrigued. This event blew me away and opened the door for me, not only to meet a wealth of new people, but a unique opportunity to explore what a career in banking would be like, especially with disabilities with all the top investment banks. I was very quickly assured that my disabilities would not disadvantage me and support was out there to help me with my application process.
Since then, I have never looked back. EmployAbility has been there every step with me over the last three years, supporting me through spring programmes at both Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley where I had fantastic experiences and confirmed this was the career for me. EA gave me continual advice and support through applications and interviews for internships. I had the most incredibly tough and rewarding Internship at Goldman Sachs this summer and I am very excited about joining their graduate programme this summer. I am so grateful for their constant support and advice, it has been phenomenal. It is fantastic there is such a strong support function out there for people with disabilities, whatever that may be.
