I applied directly for an internship at Citi. Prior to attending the assessment centre I began feeling unwell due to my disability and as a result I didn’t perform well during the interviews, tests and group exercise and failed to gain a place on the programme.

On the other hand, when I applied to Goldman Sachs and UBS through EmployAbility, I was confident that I had their support behind me and if I were to be unwell (due to my disability), they were there to help.
