With a wealth of diverse locations, products and services, we can offer you unparalleled opportunities to explore a variety of career options. Merrill Lynch are pleased to be working with EmployAbility to offer a summer internship programme for disabled students and graduates.

A dynamic environment will provide you with a breadth of knowledge and experience, and in turn you’ll contribute to our strong business growth and momentum. Our position at the forefront of the world’s financial markets will allow your career incomparable progression. And our industry-leading professionals will help you deliver essential solutions and exceptional results for our clients.

We aim to achieve excellence in everything we do. As truly global company, we must ensure that we reflect the communities we operate within. That’s why we value our diverse workforce and the broad ranging backgrounds, outlooks and experiences they bring to our business.

As a vital part of our ever-growing organisation, you’ll also benefit from world-class training programmes and actively participate in our day-to-day business from the word go.

The Summer Internship Programme

You will gain an invaluable insight into Merrill Lynch with the nine-week summer programme. Get to know the Merrill Lynch culture, offices and working environment whilst finding out more about the financial services industry.

With a range of networking activities lined up, this is an excellent opportunity to meet senior management, senior analysts and other summer interns. You’ll also receive support from your own assigned mentor who will be on call to provide career development advice.

After a thorough business induction and taking part in a community service project you join a team within your chosen business area. You will then either stay within one group, or complete a series of rotations. This steep on-the-job learning curve will be supported by continual training.

Through exposure to our business and contact with industry experts and structured training, you’ll have ample opportunity to prove yourself. If you do, it could lead to a full-time job offer following your graduation.
