The role As part of our commitment to hire and develop top talent, Google has created the Online Media Associate Programme for recent and experienced university graduates. Based at our European Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, this 3 year programme offers international graduates from all academic disciplines an immersion into online business, advertising and new technologies. The Online Media Associate Programme offers an all-round introduction to managing business operations with some of the most innovative products on the market. In the first year of the programme, we focus on developing industry knowledge and core professional and personal skills through hands-on experience, ongoing skills workshops, elective modules and team projects. In the second year, the learning programme expands to develop leadership and managerial skills, while deepening sector expertise and providing opportunities for rotation in other business functions and/or geographies. The Online Media Associate Programme calls for recent and experienced university graduates with strong analytical and communication skills to help Google clients and users get the most out of their advertising efforts and our products. Your specific responsibilities will depend on the team you will join (for example AdWords, AdSense,YouTube, Enterprise or Search Quality) and on your skills and experience. You could work in a highly motivated sales team, convincing potential customers to use our tools in online marketing or you could provide customer support and solutions to challenging technical issues. You could manage advertiser or publisher accounts, develop compelling advertising solutions for brand advertisers, improve access to relevant information for internet users or develop scalable support solutions for rapid-growth consumer products. With exceptional interpersonal skills, you are passionate about innovation, process improvement and problem solving. You love to analyse and improve existing procedures and you cannot wait to make a difference.
