GOLDMAN SACHS EMPLOYABILITY SUMMER INTERNSHIP FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES 2009The Goldman Sachs EmployAbility Internship gives students with disabilities the opportunity to obtain invaluable work experience and gain an insight into the industry. EmployAbility is the not-for-profit organisation that facilitates and manages the selection and recruitment for disability inclusive employers seeking to attract and recruit disabled people onto internships, graduate programmes and other permanent roles. Equities is a world leader in assisting institutional investors and issuers in equity (stock) markets across the globe. FICC is at the forefront of global markets in Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and traded Commodities and has been labeled the ultimate current affairs business. The eight day Spring Programme features seminars, rotations with teams across the Securities Division trading floors, challenging assignments, team projects and social events. No prior knowledge of Equities or FICC is required. Investment Banking Division Spring ProgrammeThe Investment Banking division is responsible for delivering high-quality strategic advice and creative financing solutions to our clients, including mergers, acquisitions, financing and risk management transactions. The three day Spring Programme features seminars, presentations and social events and will also give you the opportunity to understand more about what we do and interact with a number of our professionals. No prior experience in Investment Banking is required. Operations, Technology, Finance & Services Divisions Spring ProgrammeThe firm’s business, legal and regulatory environments are constantly changing and it is Operations, Technology, Finance & Services’ responsibility to ensure that the firm has effective strategies and state-of-the-art technology in place to respond to market developments. Finance is a critical area within Goldman Sachs, responsible for the firm’s capital management and risk monitoring. Operations provides operational risk management and oversight for the firm’s trading and sales business through the development of workflows, systems and controls. Technology provides leading-edge applications to drive new business and revenue growth, the security and controls that are essential to protecting the firm, and the infrastructure that is the engine of the firm. Services provides essential global services with a goal to be the premier provider of business infrastructure, safety and support services to assist our clients in achieving their business goals. The one week Operations, Technology, Finance & Services Spring Programme features seminars, presentations, group projects and a range of networking events.
