The Barclays Wealth structured three-year graduate programme is designed to give you all the knowledge and experience you need to make the most of your career as a Private Banker. You are in the driving seat and should take personal ownership of developing your career. As well as gaining valuable experience through the role you are performing, you can expect high level training and support, such as an initial training programme, mentoring scheme and e-learning. 

What we're looking for

Barclays Wealth offers a fantastic opportunity for a long-term career as a Private Banker. We value commitment, passion and integrity above all else. You will be genuinely interested in wealth management and have the ambition to make the most of the opportunities we present to you.

Ideally, you will have:

• A good degree in any subject
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong communication and relationship building skills, combined with analytical capabilities
• Willingness to travel/live abroad for a short period – due to the rotational aspect of the programme, you’ll spend at least 6 months in an international office
• Work experience (advantageous, but not compulsory)
• Language skills (English is our business language but we would highly value additional languages from candidates, particularly Arabic, Mandarin, Hindi, French or Spanish)
